Refund Policy

Refund of Unused portions of Tuition, Fees, etc. if student does not enter course; if student withdraws from course; or if student is discontinued/withdrawn is only provided per the following conditions:

  • A formal refund request must be emailed to registrar@protrain.edu.

Refunds for courses are only given under the following circumstances:

  • A full refund if a student withdraws before the first day of class or the school cancels the class, and;
  • A seventy – five percent (75%) refund (minus a non-refundable $575 registration fee) if the student withdraws on or before completing at least twenty-five percent (25%) of the total program in which the student is enrolled.

As of this publication, ProTrain College does not have Title IV funds.  Should this status change, the institution will adhere to all Return to Title IV (R2T4) policies as is discussed in:  https://fsapartners.ed.gov/knowledge-center/fsa-handbook/2020-2021/vol5/ch1-withdrawals-and-return-title-iv-funds 

Students shall understand that with their enrollment and attending their course or accessing of their online course that they have read and agree to the aforementioned refund policy in writing.  There are no gratis extensions granted for any course. If the student does not complete the course by the end-date of their online welcome letter or by the scheduled end date of the live online or in-classroom program, there will be additional fees for extended access. The student is provided a copy of the catalog and the signed agreement will be kept on file for that student account by the school and a copy will be provided to the student.

Withdrawal Policy:

Withdrawal request must be in writing via email to registrar@protrain.edu or by mail to 2621 Bradford Grove Place, Raleigh, NC 27606.  The date of the communication to the school will be the official date of withdrawal and will be used to calculate any pro-rata refund. It is the student’s responsibility to withdraw officially from the school. Failure to withdraw formally may result in failing grades and additional financial obligations. The policy and regulations shall provide for, at a minimum, a full refund if a student withdraws before the first day of class or the school cancels the class and a seventy – five percent (75%) refund if the student withdraws within the first twenty-five percent (25%) of the period of enrollment/completion of course for which the student was charged.  Please note that all programs of study have a non-refundable $575 registration fee which will be deducted from all approved refunds.  Withdrawal from a class will be assigned a grade of W. When a withdrawn student reenters, he/she will be charged the tuition rate in effect at the time of reentry.
